What is the L-Theanine & Caffeine Beginner’s Stack?
The Beginners Stack is, as the name suggests, a great nootropic to start with. L-Theanine and Caffeine are a good combination. To explain exactly what this stack is, it is best to treat the substances L-Theanine and Caffeine separately. L-Theanine is a substance extracted from the leaves of green tea. The substance Theanine is a building block for proteins.
After using L-Theanine, serotonin and dopamine are released. These are neurotransmitters that make you feel happy. Caffeine is a molecule that has an effect on the body after only 15 minutes. Caffeine is soluble in fat and stimulates both physical and mental functions. In combination, Caffeine and L-Theanine enhance each other’s beneficial effects. The negative effects that can occur with Caffeine such as hyperactivity and restlessness disappear due to the L-Theanine.
Properties
Most people are familiar with the effects of Caffeine. You are more alert, feel less tired and can perform better because sleep deprivation and boredom no longer bother you. The effect is also noticeable in your muscles, which makes this stack suitable for athletes. Your concentration and short-term memory will also improve after using this nootropic. L-Theanine has a different effect: it improves memory and learning ability, but has a calming effect. In combination, Caffeine and L-Theanine enhance each other’s beneficial effects. The negative effects that can occur with Caffeine such as hyperactivity and restlessness disappear due to the L-Theanine.

Dose
The usual dose is 100 mg Caffeine and 200 mg L-Theanine. In comparison: 1 cup of coffee contains 100 mg of caffeine. This daily dose should not be exceeded. Pay attention if you drink a lot of coffee and/or tea yourself, as you can get more caffeine and theanine that way. This stack should preferably be taken in the morning.
Side effects
Caffeine can cause restlessness and insomnia. An overdose often causes nausea or diarrhea. Because the half-life is 3-6 hours, these effects will not last long. L-theanine has no updates. Because you take these two substances together, the side effects will be kept to a minimum. Do you suffer from side effects for a very long time? Then try to lower the dose.
