What is DMAE Bitrartrate (Dimethyl Amino Ethyl Bitartrate)
DMAE Bitartrate is a precursor of the neurotransmitter choline. Neurotransmitters play an important role in brain function and signal transmission. They affect how you feel, how much energy you have and what you do and don’t remember. Sufficient choline is especially important in the elderly. In addition, cell membranes are also kept healthy by choline. Choline is not only in nootropics, but also in food including milk, eggs and peanuts. However, these amounts are often low.
